This is my favorite fruit 釋迦．I looked up online for its English translation, and it said "sugar apple" or "sweetsop". It is nothing like apple and has it's own distinct texture and flavor -- sweet and fragrant. My in-laws always pick out the biggest and best looking ones at fruit market for me when I visit. Yum!
